DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm) SIZE 3 MM – or the size needed to get 24 stitches and 32 rows stocking stitch on 10 cm in width and 10 cm in height.

KNITTING TENSION:
The shawl will be dampened and stretched to the correct measurements at the end, so the knitting tension is not too important, but to get an idea of whether you are knitting too tightly or too loosely, work a trial patch with needle size 3 mm and check that you get approx. 24 stitches and 32 rows stocking stitch on 10 cm in width and 10 cm in height.
