You can also change the finished size by using worsted weight yarn and a H/8 (5mm) hook, or go smaller with
size 10 crochet cotton and a size 9 (1.40mm) steel hook. My example uses Caron’s Simply Soft and took a little
over 1 skein for the gray and about 1/2 skein for the red blanket. I also used a hook one size smaller than the
size recommended on the label so I would have a firm fabric that the stufifng wouldn’t show through.
