This scarf is like the Double Crème Brie of cheeses. It has a rich, creamy look and feel to it. It’s a classic winter white scarf, but really it’s much more modern and distinct, with a very sophisticated edge.

It also has a softness (cashmere and merino wool) that directly contradicts its strong and unique personality. Bold, threaded diamond cables are an intriguing and very eye-catching design running the length of this scarf.

Simple braided cable edges border the center design for a touch of refinement.

This is definitely a scarf for sophisticated knitting palates! A great unisex gift.

NOTE: Knit Picks Capra is listed on Ravelry as a DK weight; however, I used it as a worsted weight on the size 9 needles, so I suggest worsted weight if you are going to substitute a different yarn.

GAUGE:
 28-sts of Threaded Diamond Cable = 6 ¼“ 5.5 cm and 22 rows = 4” 10 cm
 6 sts = 1” 2.5 cm in Braided Cable
