Artist’s Loop is a chunky buttoned cowl that can be knit in 1-2 hours and worn 2 different ways. Simple stitches produce a triple tiered, buttoned cowl and make the most of beautifully handpainted Malabrigo Rasta. The pattern is named for the Artist’s Loop section of the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet BC.

Sizes: One size - 20” (51cm) finished length at neck; 5½” (14cm) width at buttons.

Materials:
Yarn & Notions: 80 yards/ 73 meters super bulky yarn such as Malabrigo Rasta in Arco Iris; three 1” (2.54 cm) buttons; thread or fingering weight yarn to attach buttons.

Tools:
US17 (12mm) Circular Needle (16”/40 cm long) (or size to meet gauge), tapestry needle, sewing needle, thread.

Gauge:
