This pattern is available for free.

This pattern is for 2-in-1 boot cuffs - 1st part is modest and simple with buttons for decor (and for attaching second part). 2nd part is more fancier and rich of texture consisting cables and lace. 2nd part is attachable with button holes.

You can find boot cuff written instructions and chart for upper lace pattern.

I have to warn you though - this is more of an intermediate project. I did not write instructions on how to sew the sides of the knitted item, how to sew a button and how to make a button hole.

Nevertheless, I’ll give you links on where you can find the info, so you can still knit this pattern.

Suitable for boot edge circumference of 40 cm / 15,8 inches.

Things you’ll need:

  • 50 g of main color
  • 50 g of contrast color
  • pair of needles size 3 mm / US 2,5
  • cable needle
  • 4 buttons - circumference 4 cm / 1,5 inches (I chose brown ones because they harmonize with my boots)
  • tapestry needle
