NOTE: Depending on yarn and needle size, the size of your project will vary. Gauge remains the same regardless.

Yarn
Jaggerspun Zephyr Wool-Silk 2/18, three skeins OR
Cascade Yarns Heritage, three to four skeins OR
Cascade 220, seven skeins

Recommended Needles
For lace weight: 4mm, US size 6
For fingering: 5 mm, US size 8
For worsted: 6mm, US size 10
or whatever needle will give you the fabric you like.

Gauge: approximately 4 stitches to an inch. Exact gauge is not critical to this project, but it may affect how much yarn you use.

Beads (optional if using either of the lighter weights): 24 grams of size 6/0

Techniques required: Chart reading, increasing and decreasing, lace, beadwork.

Notes: Your project has a garter stitch border consisting of two stitches on either side. These four stitches will be included in the directions for the first clue, but they will not be included in any subsequent stitch counts unless otherwise specified.

This pattern has been written using nupps. If desired, any nupp may be substituted with a bead, if the project is being worked in either the lace or fingering weights. If using beads instead of nupps, your yardage may vary.

If making the blanket, the squares may be worked together as you work on them, or they may be sewn together all at once later.

All updates will include previous clues from the pattern. If there are any errata in the previous clues, they will be corrected in subsequent updates.
