Love won, so this seemed like the perfect time to add Dr. Frank-N-Furter to the 2015 Mad Science Geek-A-Long.

I actually learned a lot when I was doing the research for this post. For example, I knew that the red triangle on Dr. Furter’s lab coat is a pride symbol. I did not, however, know the history behind that particular imagery. An upside-down red triangle was used by Nazis to identify gay people in the same way that the yellow Star of David was used to identify Jewish people. Later, the gay community turned it right side up as a show of pride and solidarity.

For this square I chose to represent the mad-man-building Doctor with the red triangle from his lab jacket and the iconic Rocky Horror Lips.
