This year our MKAL is designed by Kelli Slack. It’s a different concept where you collect clues at each shop you visit and make either a cowl or scarf, as long as you want it, and with as many or few repeats of the stitch patterns as you want too. You can use mini skeins, full skeins, leftovers, or any combination of fingering weight yarns. Clues may be collected from the participating Slow Crawl shops between June 1 and August 31, 2018 and with purchase of a Slow Yarn Crawl passport.

Each shop’s MKAL clue will be included with the Ravlery download for that shop’s pattern. The intro PDF is available here and on the Slow Crawl website.

Intro: What is more fun than working on a new pattern with each shop you visit? Don’t worry if you can’t make it to all of the shops. Whether you make it to 4 or 24, this pattern wil give you enough pieces to make a fun cowl or scarf. A buttoned edge means you can knit this pattern as a cowl or a scarf and have fun with it. Some of the patterns will be more challenging than others. Choose 5 colors or more. You could even use up leftover yarn for this pattern, but I love the Dream in Color minis.

This pattern is meant for beginning knitters to experienced knitters and all those in-between. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.
