From the town of Henley-on-Thames, 23 miles southeast of Oxford, comes this classic top. Rowers have sported this design since the 1800s and now you can knit one up for yourself!

This is a pattern for a summer henley worked with short or elbow length sleeves. It is worked from the top down flat and in the round in stockinette st with set in sleeves. The sleeve cap and shoulder seams are shaped with short rows.
