Notes:

• You begin with a chain of 94, follow the pattern to work one side of the shawl, then restart at the original chain and work on the other side.

• One possibly confusing symbol is the + which is single crochet (which is usually represented as an x in most other patterns).

• Another potentially confusing symbol is in Row 3: the two stitches that go into the triple crochet stitch below are single crochet, but they can easily be misinterpreted as double crochet.
