Direct link to pattern PDF. Pattern is entirely in Japanese but charted using standard crochet symbols. No gauge is listed in the pattern.

Materials (enough for both parrots)

  • Japanese size 8/0 (5.0 mm) crochet hook
  • 8 different colors of Pierrot Yuttari Acrylic (small amounts of each color)
  • scraps of Pierrot Long Fur (or appropriate fun fur) for the male parrot only

Includes directions for amigurumi parrots, one male and one female. NOTE: The Japanese word inko means “true parrot,” and could refer to a parrot, parakeet, lory, or conure. I don’t know enough about bird species to know which ones these are supposed to be.
