Daehlin employed two special crochet techniques to create this high-impact paisley wrap, worked in Mountain Colors’ “Bearfoot.” Hairpin lace, popular during Victorian times, calls for a simple loom and hook; broomstick lace utilizes a large knitting needle along with a crochet hook. The discrete sections are made separately and joined with a slip-stitch chain.
