Pattern description from Knit.1, Summer 2007: “Who says you can’t be a little glam at work? Elena Malo adds shimmer and ribbon to a basic crew-neck cardi: Sleeves and patch pockets of Lion Brand Yarn’s ‘Trellis’ pop against a ‘Glitterspun’ body; the seed-stitch button bands are worked as you go.”

• 5 skeins in #153 Onyx of Glitterspun by Lion Brand Yarn, 1¾oz/50g skeins, each approx 115yd/105m (acrylic/cupro/polyester)
• 1 skein in #301 Night Life of Trellis by Lion Brand Yarn, 1¾oz/50g skeins, each approx 115yd/105m (nylon)
• One pair each sizes 8 and 13 (5 and 9mm) needles or size to get the gauge
• Six 5/8” / 15mm buttons La Mode Style #2730
