This hat was created in support of the March for Our Lives Movement, in which survivors will publicly protest gun violence on March 24th, 2018. This movement was created by the students of the Parkland, Florida shooting. The organizers are planning for 500,000 people to attend the event in Washington D.C. My hope is to provide the students with as many hats as possible. Not only will the hats be a practical source of warmth for the students, but they will make a visual impact which will help their message be better heard. The hat uses the colors of the movement, but can be customized by adding charms, a pom-pom, or embroidered slogans. This hat is a way for people who are unable to make the march to contribute to the cause and show their support for these amazing students.
