Many people carry bottled water with them and often put an inch of so of water in them which is put into the freezer. When ready for use, you can fill the rest of the bottle with water and have cold water all day long. Or you can place a new bottle in the freezer just until ice crystals start to form. A problem arises in that the cold water condenses on the outside of the bottle and makes a puddle or dampens your clothes. Felted water bottle covers eliminate that problem. The pattern comes in three varieties, one with a belt loop, one with a drawstring and one with an I-cord strap attached to tabs on the side for carrying over your shoulder or tying to your backpack.

The bottle I use most often is AquaFina in the 24 oz size. This is the size bottle these covers will fit as they are the most common size although you can vary the size by changing felting time or needle size.
