3 Lacy Ripple Stoles are made with Lace Weight Yarn. I used Kraemer Fountain Hill Brushed Mohair. Light, Lacy, Sparkly, Warm and full of Yarn Overs and Knit 2 stitches together and Purl on back side of work. Your choice: 2 Rows of eyelets per ripple, one row of eyelets per ripple, or a simple drop stitch in the ripple. It can be made 3 sizes, 60”, 70” and 80” long by 18” wide. If its made with more width simply add the repeat pattern one or two more times. It is knitted on a 36” Circular Needle Size 13. One skein of Fountain Hill Brushed Mohair will make one of any of the three sizes. 300 yards for any of the original sizes. But, if you want it wide additional yardage may be required. Any Lace Weight Yarn will work, with or without sparkles. Or a lace weight yarn that is self stripping, or variegated.
