This pattern includes 3 designs. The first one is the Dish Cloth. It is done in Double Crochet “V” stitches. It is about 7.5” X 7.5”. Quick and easy to do. You can make it bigger by increasing the amount of starting chains. It is worked in rows.
The second is the Scrubby. I used both Light Weight Nylon Netting and Crochet cotton. That way the scrubber is on one size and a Dish Cloth is on the other. So if you don’t like to use a standard cloth, This may be what works for you. It is worked in the round.
I have also added a round double sided scrubby to the pattern. So now there are two choices for scrubbies. They are made with both stytes Red Heart Scrubby yarn
The Third is a Pot Holder. You can make this as big or little as you like by adding more or less starting chains.Mine comes to 6.5” x 6.5” and is worked in the round and looks like a pouch when working. The chain foundation is from corner to corner. So measure your finished size you want from corner to corner, make a chain that goes that length. And your Off and running! This is one of the most popular types. I have had many ladies stop into my shop and ask me how to make this one. So I thought wouldn’t it be great if all three were available in one pattern.
The gauge listed is for the Pot Holder. It doesn’t really matter your finished size unless you are a very tight or loose crocheter, then the size could be a concern. All that is needed to make them are two crochet hooks. The “I” is for the Scrubby and the “H” is for the Pot Holder and Dish Cloth.
If you can only get the smaller put up of Sugar and Cream (2 ounces), you will need 3 balls, the pattern will tell you what to make out of each ball, so 3 will work. If you get the “Super Size” which is 3 ounces, only 2 balls will be needed. And if you get the Cone, you can make at least 2 complete sets out of it.
I use Sugar and Cream because I can find it locally. There is also one out there called Peaches and Cream which also works well.
