Materials

  • Malabrigo Rasta (100% merino wool; 90 yds / 82m per 150g skein); 1 skein; Violeta Africana #808 (sample hat used 65 yds / 60m)
  • US #13 / 9mm circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge), 16- or 20-inch (40 or 50cm) length
  • US #13 / 9mm needles for working small circumference in the round: dpns, long circular for magic loop, or two circulars, as you prefer
  • Yarn needle
