Pattern Description from Vogue Knitting, Fall 2007: “Deep purple ramps up the vamp factor in this foxy crossover sweater by Susan Haviland, stitched in hand-dyed ‘Superwash Merino DK’ by Cherry Tree Hill. Three distinct cable patterns are worked to the bustline on both front and back. From there, sleeves are knit up to the neck, sewn to the two body pieces, crossed and grafted in back to form the stand-up collar.”

“Close-fitting pullover with deep saddle shoulder detailing that crosses over at front to form the stand-up neck.”
