Pattern description from Knit.1, Fall 2007: “What to wear to that dream-job interview? Galina Carroll’s elegant suit stitched in Louet Sales’ ‘Gems Worsted,’ of course. The skirt is knit in four identical panels and seamed together with an attached belt. The buttoned jacket has a lapel collar and set-in sleeves. It too is worked in panels, its seams detailed with embroidery.”

Notions: Small amount of Solid Navy Yarn (for cross-stitch embroidery), five 3/4” / 20mm buttons, five large snaps, 1yd/1m of 1/2” / 1.5cm wide elastic (for skirt).

Skirt Measurements:

  • Small (Medium, Large, X-Large)
  • Hip 34 (36, 38, 40)“/86 (91.5, 96.5, 101.5)cm
  • Waist 28 (30, 32, 34)“/71 (76, 81, 86)cm
  • Length 21”/53cm
