#36 Lace Slouch

DK (11 wpi) ?
21 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches
in Stocking stitch, using larger needle
US 6 - 4.0 mm
US 7 - 4.5 mm
274 yards (251 m)
Adult (22" head circumference)

This unusual beret slopes loosely toward the back of the head, leaving lots of room for a ponytail. It’s worked in the round from the ribbed brim up, a lace rib separating alternating sections of stockinette and welting.

An unexpected pinwheel effect is created by the increases and decreases used to shape the slouch.
