“Tawashi” are various types of scrubbers which could be used to clean dishes, windows, and other household items.

Pattern is Japanese but fully charted using standard crochet symbols.

Hook: Japanese size 7.5/0 = 4.5mm, between US G-6 (4.0mm) and US H-8 (5.0mm).

Yarn (Hamanaka Bonny):
Red 赤 (429) 25g
White 白 (401) 10g
Black 黒 (402) small amount

Additional instructions
This tawashi is constructed from two circles crocheted together around the edge. Separate small crocheted pieces are sewn on to make the goldfish’s fins and eyes.
