A friend recently learned to knit, and after several washcloths, she needed to find that next project. The 3L (Life Long Learning) Sampler Cowl is a skill building pattern that uses basic stitch combinations and includes both written patterns and charts. And for the more experienced knitter, it’s a quick, textured project.

Size: Approximately 36”/91.4 cm circumference by 10”/25.4 cm wide, measured blocked, will fit most adults

Materials: DK yarn – approximately 300 yards/275 meters

Needles: US 6 / 4mm 20” circulars or needle size necessary to achieve gauge

Gauge: 20 stitches by 27 rows over 4”/10 cm on larger needles in stockinette after blocking
