GAUGE ALERT - Isager Alpaca 2 is a LIGHTWEIGHT fingering yarn with the somewhat looser, loftier twist of a traditional colorwork wool
( 50g - 273yds/250m ).

I looked long and hard for a very lightweight, strong fingering yarn because I wanted to be able to string size 11/0 beads on it and because I love, love, love the look of a very small gauge in colorwork.

Most Superwash-type Fingering Weight sock yarns,
( 50g - 175-220yds/160-200m ), often spun tightly with a very springy, tubular twist, will definitely not achieve my gauge.

The Morning Thistle is a fully charted design for colorwork fingerless gloves worked in the round. Can be knitted with or without beads, in four sizes (pattern includes individual charts for each size).
