A surprisingly fast knit, this modern hand knit, sleeveless dress lets beautiful hand-dyed yarns take center stage. A simple, A-line skirt with a darker colored section at the waist gives the appearance of a narrower waistline. And, with a semi-fitted bodice, this dress is a flattering style for most figure types. The sleeveless style lets you wear it alone with sandals in mild climate. Or layer a t-shirt, or a button-down shirt, for cooler weather. Worn with a turtleneck, boots and tights will provide ultimate warmth in coldest climates. Knitting in the round provides a consistent striping and color pattern on both front and back without the need to match side seams in finishing. Decreases and increases create dart shaping at the waist and bodice. I-cord finishes on the neckline and armholes.
