These sturdy, water resistant, naturally insulating, use-them-again bags are a stylish alternative to plastic and paper shopping bags from the grocery and everywhere else. Stronger than other re-useable bags, the Green Earth keeps its shape when full. The absence of stitched seams means it will not come apart even after long use.

In this novel design, the handle hardware is felted in. Not only is there no finishing necessary after the bag is done felting, there is no danger of the handles coming loose at the worst possible moment when your bag is weighted down with heavy shopping.

The Recyle It! Arrow and Blue Marble are knit in intarsia on both sides of the bag. These intarsia designs are simple enough for beginning knitters and are an excellent opportunity to try this versatile and exciting technique if you never have before. Clean River resembles the Arrow but is knit as a simple, continuous stripe and represents an alternative for knitters who prefer straight knitting over intarsia.

The small things we do to keep our Earth green and our rivers clean add up. Let’s all knit our part.
