I was asked by my Auntie to make 5 currant buns for the children in the nursery she works in, to use as a prop for their nursery rhyme time. I couldn’t find any I liked online, so I wrote up this quick and easy pattern. It uses a minimal amount of yarn and so is a great stash buster.
For the purposes of this pattern, English crochet terms are used.

Remember children should always be supervised when playing with toys

You will need:

DK yarn in brown or beige (less than 50g)
DK yarn in cream or white (less than 50g)
DK yarn in red (less than 10g)
Toy stuffing
4mm Crochet hook
A needle to sew up
