22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm (4”), over stocking stitch on 4mm needles or the size required to give the correct tension. Check your tension – if less stitches use thinner needles if more use thicker needles.

To fit chest:
(1-2 years: 53.5cm/21”), (3-4 years: 56cm/22”), (5-6 years: 61cm/24”), (7-8 years: 66cm/26”), (9-11 years: 71cm/28”), (12-13 years: 76cm/30”).
