7 Sisters is a semi-circular shawl that can be done in 5, or more sections. It is knit from the top down using gathered stitches, lace work, and your choice of adding beads or nupps.

I chose the name due to the placement of the 7 gathered stitches used in the first section of the shawl. It is very close to the placement of the stars in the Pleiades constellation.

The shawl can be worked with any yarn and needles desired, but will use more yarn if doing a larger size. The instructions include charts and written line by line instructions. I have provided the starting stitches for both a 5 section and 7 section shawl.

Although the stitches used aren’t particularly difficult, I would rate this shawl as one for an intermediate knitter. Many thanks to my testers:
