This afghan measures 40” x 56” and is a great project to make with scraps of worsted weight yarn (or 2 strands of sport weight yarn held together). It is made with 3 1/2” x 3 1/2” granny squares set on point. There is 15 oz of black worsted weight yarn in the afghan, which is used for the border of each square and in the edging around the afghan. Three shades of each color are used for the squares. You can arrange the colored squares in any order you’d like. There are left half and right half squares added on the left and right edges to make those edges straight. The top and bottom edges are zigzag.

Gauge: square motif rnds 1-4 = 3.5” square; rnds 1-7 = 5.5” square
