The blanket & pillows are knit entirely in garter stitch, with the tricolor center section worked first in three wide stripes, the two side sections are subsequently picked up along the center’s longer sides and worked outward in a stripe pattern. The long blue borders are picked up and knit in finishing.

Materials Required
Yarn:

  • 5 balls in #1946 silver grey (A)
  • 4 balls in #900 charcoal (B)
  • 3 balls in #259 turquoise (C)

Needles:

  • One size 10 (6mm) circular needle, 32” long, or size to obtain gauge

For Pillows:

  • 18” pillow form (2)
  • 18” square piece of fabric in coordinating color for back of pillows (2)
