Instructions for a cute little vest, knickers, Mary Jane shoes, and a headband.  The vest, shoes and headband have instructions with and without knitting in lace.  There is the choice of knickers with knitting in lace, or fully patterned knickers without lace.

You will need:

17-18” or 42.5-45cm Height (Approx 4-5lb Prem) Size

100g 4ply yarn, 1 metre of ribbon for the knickers, 2 buttons for the shoes, 11 metres of knitting in lace (776 holes), embellishments of your choice, 2 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 2.75mm needles making a tension of 30sts and 38 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

18-19” or 45-47.5cm Height (Approx 5-7lb Newborn) Size

100g 4ply yarn, 1 metre of ribbon for the knickers, 2 buttons for the shoes, 11 metres of knitting in lace (776 holes), embellishments of your choice, 2 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.25mm needles making a tension of 28sts and 36 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

20-21” or 51-53.5cm Height (Approx 8-10lb Newborn) Size

100g 4ply yarn, 1 metre of ribbon for the knickers, 2 buttons for the shoes, 11 metres of knitting in lace (776 holes), embellishments of your choice, 2 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles.  OR use dk yarn and 3.25mm needles making a tension of 26sts and 34 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

22” or 55cm Height (Approx 0-3 Months) Size

150g dk yarn, 1 metre of ribbon for the knickers, 2 buttons for the shoes, 11 metres of knitting in lace (776 holes), embellishments of your choice, 2 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 3.75mm needles making a tension of 24sts and 30 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

3-6 Month Size

150g dk yarn, 1 metre of ribbon for the knickers, 2 buttons for the shoes, 11 metres of knitting in lace (776 holes), embellishments of your choice, 2 x stitch holders, 1 x pr 4mm needles making a tension of 22sts and 28 rows to 10cm square over stocking stitch.

This pattern has been designed by myself so it is in UK terminology. It does not follow the usual ‘shop bought’ format. There are 6 printed pages with clear and easy to follow instructions. All my patterns are tested by independent knitters before they are released, so every effort is made so that they come to you error free.
