This sample pillow was developed from a desire I had to study the similarities and differences between bobbles, knots, tufts, and Estonian nupps (“nupp” is Estonian for “button”, “bud”, or “knob”)- all different ways to create bumps on knitted fabrics. I chose nine different techniques to see how they looked individually and compared to each other.
