This pattern is now available from Kate Gilbert’s Ravelry store and includes information about resizing the pattern that is not available in the magazine version. The pattern is also available in the Winter 2006 Interweave Knits.

From Interweave Knits, Winter 2006, page 14:

<p>"Inspired by the film trilogy The Lord of the Rings, Kate Gilbert designed this hooded cardigan with the elf princess Arwen in mind. Reversible bands of Celtic knot cables, worked at the same time as the body of the garment, edge the fronts and continue seamlessly into the hood. Each front-and-sleeve unit is worked as one piece; the sleeve stitches are cast on at the armhole and worked as part of the front. Choose a light color as shown for a soft, feminine look or a darker hue for when you want to fade into the trees."
