Designed by Master Hand Knitter Suzanne Bryan, this is a crescent shawl starting from a garter tab and worked in garter stitch until desired size of body is reached. A seperate lace edging is worked including pre strung and individually added beads. The lace edging is then joined to the body with the Russian Graft.

There are QR codes and live links to video tutorials for the crescent tab, on how to add beads via crochet hook and pre-strung, how to read lace charts, and how to work the Russina Graft.

A mini version of this shawl was included with the pattern, “Lacework - A Skill Building Tutorial” which also includes directions for 4 other shawl shapes in miniature.

Samples test knitted by Dollyce Beaman, Master Hand Knitter Janet Bochin and Master Hand Knitter in progress Rae Izworski (she has completed Level 2 of 3).
