This is a really old vintage pattern from the turn of the century.

Materials:

“This shawl takes nineteen ounce skeins of fine wool, such as 2-ply fingering, Head & Son’s Pompadour wool, or J & J Baldwin’s Beehive Ivorine fingering. It can be made all in the one colour, or in white or cream and blue, yellow, pink etc., in whic case 16 ounces of cream wool, and 3 ounces of coloured wool will be required. Use a medium-size bone crochet hook.”
