This cushion was inspired by an amazing quilt I saw in Stanley Kubrick’s film ‘A Clockwork Orange’. Look out for it if you ever watch the film.

It’s modular style knitting, so you can make this as big or small as you like. Each individual pyramid measures approximately 6cm along the base and they are roughly 5cm high.

They are stuffed as you go along and are sewn or crocheted together afterwards.

Each little pyramid uses roughly 7 metres of yarn in the base colour (black) and 6 metres in the main colour.

For the pillow in the picture I used:

175m black yarn
60m red
60m orange
30m yellow
