I added a picot edge to the cozy. Originally I wasn’t going to, but since this is a special cozy, It needed a special stitch or two, The main body is crocheted with a sc and dc in the same st. It creates a nice thick and slightly bumpy fabric to protect your fingers from the heat and the picot is just for you crochet stitch lovers.

Also used fsc, (foundation sc)

The flower is crocheted directly on to the cozy. The center is open to allow the button to close.
Needed a 1” or larger button.
