A crew neckline is quite a change on knitted jumpers from the inevitable V. A country correspondent has written for a pattern of a perfectly plain crew necked jumper with ribbing at the waist and wrists. Her size is S.S.W., 32 bust, and these instructions should be of of use to dozens of other girls of her size.

MATERIALS required: 10 oz of 4-ply wool, two No. 9 bone needles and four No. 13 steel needles for the neck.
