A Crochet Hat for Winter

First procure 3oz. royal blue “Western Fleece” 4-ply fingering, a steel crochet hook No. 1, millinery wire, and 1½ yards of 2in. wide royal blue ribbon.
The total outlay for this smart little hat will be:— 3 skeins “Western Fleece” wool, 2/3; one coil hat wire, 6d.; 1½ yards ribbon, at 9d. per yard, 1/1½; 1 crochet hook, 2d.; total, 4/0½.
