The bookmark presented here is based on a Szontagh sisters design: Pattern Number 274,“Epaulette with Round Roses and Cherries.” As an epaulette, it was meant to be paired with a collar (Number 46a) and cuffs (Number 46b). Learn more in PieceWork Fall 2018. Julianna simplified the design by removing a clover and changed the dimensions to fit modern crochet threads, as the original materials are no longer available.
