I love Fair Isle so much I try to incorporate it in everything. I got this idea to work the ends of the scarf in the round, so I could do Fair Isle, and the rest of the scarf flat in a textured stitch. I even built in fringe holes. It worked! Since most of the scarf is worked flat, it is not too heavy. Since it was a success, of course, I have all kinds of other Fair Isle designs bouncing around in my head.
