This pattern is part of the Found Objects collection. This project was based on the idea that inspiration can be found in every nook and cranny of our daily lives, especially the ones that seem the most unremarkable. Each piece in this collection is based on a found object. These objects were gathered from the places I see and inhabit every day. Every item I chose had a story to share, and from those stories came inspiration for seven knitted accessories, which may someday, in turn, inspire someone else.

A Hidden Door is a large, cozy wrap inspired by the secret of a sketeton key. It is covered in a lattice of cables that open up into a doorway in the center. While these cables look complex, they are actually very intuitive, and easy to memorize.
