A beautiful sock that looks much more complicated than it is. Ideal for a first lace project as the pattern repeats are easy to remember. The embroidered crosses and bow down the back of the leg adds a bit of fancy character!

Difficulty: intermediate
2.75mm needles
Yarn: any sock yarn
Size: The lace design makes the sock stretchy, so it can fit a variety of sizes – this pattern is written to fit a size 8-9, but with a few rows less on the heel, would fit a 7.
For a smaller fit, try using smaller needles as this will make the lacework tighter.
