Do you need a light shoulder cover-up for the summer in air conditioned places or for the cool morning/evening? Here is a quick knit shrug great in a cotton fingering weight yarn. It is a one piece design with unique mitered square construction on the arms with a straight side-to-side across the back construction.

You will need approximately 480 yards of fingering weight yarn. If you wish to enlarge the pattern you will need to plan for more yardage.

The model is made in Wolle’s Color Changing + Striping Cotton Yarn. It used about 475 yards to make a 37” X 11” shrug.

The pattern can be adjusted in cuff to cuff dimensions in the back section to make it longer or shorter across the shoulders and arms. There are 4 possible bottom edgings. Three are knitted. The fourth (shown on model) is knitted with a crocheted beaded bind-off.

Pattern is written only.

No gauge is listed as it is not crucial to fit. Keep this in mind as your yardage may vary.
