A Project in Sheep’s Clothing is a detailed pattern with clear explanations and links to videos for the techniques used in the pattern.

The finished project bag, when done with worsted weight yarn, is approximately 11” high x 11” wide x 9” deep. The size of the bag can be adjusted by using smaller or larger yarns and needles.

You will need 2 skeins (about 400 yards) of the bottom color and one skein (about 200 yards) of the middle color to make a bag like the green and gray one.

You will need 2 skeins (about 400 yards) of each color to make a bag like the green and purple one. You will have some leftover yarn.

If you want to do stripes, you can use any number of colors. Do not use superwash yarn or any wool that is machine washable.
