This delicate scarf was inspired by the lace knitting from Haapsalu, Estonia. The Heart motif is adapted from a famous Estonian pattern designed by Matilde Moll and called Greta Garbo. The design was made for the “sublime Garbo” in the 1930s, and a large scarf with the pattern was given to Garbo as a gift at that time with hopes that she would wear the scarf and thereby advertise the beauty of Haapsalu shawls and scarves.
