This is a fun and quick knit project perfect for gift giving or for yourself. The texture is simple yet engaging to knit and creates a fun staggered zig zag effect that works great with tonal, semi solids, speckled and mildly variegated colour ways.

As an added extra when you purchase this pattern (designed for worsted weight yarn) you will also get a second bonus pattern for a DK weight version of the design (this is the red version shown in the photos on the left).

Please note this pattern (along with the bonus pattern) can be purchased as part of an E-Book with the matching Hat and Socks - overall purchasing the E-Book for £10 will mean all the patterns will work out 20% cheaper for you than purchasing them individually.

What you will need:

• Yarn – 100g Worsted weight Yarn; Yarn used in sample – Dubai Knits - Cloud Nine Worsted Base (190m/210yd per 100gm – 100% Superwash Merino) in the Grey Sprinkles Colourway. Alternatively you can use a skein of Fingering Weight yarn held double.

• Needles – 4.5mm (US7) 16” circular for knitting in the round.

• Notions
- 1 Stitch Marker for marking the beginning of the round and additional markers for marking the repeats if you wish.
- A tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

• Gauge – Approximately 4.5 sts/inch in the main body pattern, after gentle blocking.

• Size –finished cowl circumference approximately 68cm/27 inches by 22.5cm/9 inches deep.

There are notes in both versions of the pattern on how you can adjust the sizing to suit your preferences and to make the most of your yardage.
