This asymmetric shawl was designed to celebrate my grandsons first Christmas . A much longed for baby who brings a smile to our lives each day.
The Pattern appeared in the Rosie’s Moments “Advent Calendar” and used x24 5g mini skeins, however you could easily use one colour. 100g of fingering weight yarn will make a good sized project, or if you fancy making a larger version, just continue knitting until most of the yarn is knitted, leaving enough yarn to cast off.

The gauge really isn’t that important, use a needle size to obtain a nice soft drape.

This pattern is worked flat, and is easy enough for a beginner, but enough interest for an advanced knitter also.
