Made in a fur-like novelty yarn or light-as-air mohair, this shrug-like jacket is the perfect topper for that strappy dress. Knit in one piece from the neck down in garter stitch, there are only two very short seams to sew.

Yarn Requirements: Approximately 210 (250, 280) yards. Use a thick mohair or a bulky weight “fur-like” novelty yarn. Contrast borders (optional), require approximately 40 (50, 60) yards of ribbon or similar chunky weight, smooth yarn. Shown in Naturally Mohair Plus from with self borders and ties, and in Splash from Crystal Palace Yarns, bordered with a contrasting ribbon yarn and ties of wide purchased ribbon. Temptation is good yarn choice for this shrug.
